The joint research group of UPS and CESCI became a member of a prestigious international scientific network

In March 2022, the Research Group on Cross-Border Cooperation (HEK), founded by the University of Public Service and CESCI, became a full member of TEIN.
TEIN (Transfrontier Euro-Institute Network) was founded in 2005 by universities, research institutes and organizations supporting cross-border cooperation on a practical level, with the main goal to carry out cross-border developments within the EU with a scientific basis. The network coordinated by the Kehl Euro-Institut is constantly expanding, and today its members include universities such as Strasbourg, Girona, Ljubljana, Carinthia and Maastricht. At its annual general meeting on December 14, 2022, the network included UPS-CESCI HEK among its full members, as the organization’s first representative in Hungary (and at the same time the easternmost one).
Between December 15-16, the TEIN General Assembly was followed by its annual conference “Borders In Flux and Border Temporalities In and Beyond Europe”, about which more details can be found on the event’s website: https://transfrontier.eu/
